Thank you for your interest in Madisonville First United Methodist Church Preschool. Beginning in August 2024, our part-time Preschool and Parent’s Day Out programs will transition to a full-time Preschool program that will serve families of children from 6 weeks to PreK. Built into the full-day program are options for part-time learning that we refer to as flexible options. See below for information about available programs we offer.
As a state-licensed facility, we continually strive to offer the highest quality program possible to all our students. In order for us to provide the best experience for all children enrolled, we have a few requirements for enrollment. Enrollment is a fully online process through Brightwheel. You will need to create a Brightwheel account to start the enrollment process.

PROGRAMS we offer
CORE PROGRAM
The Core Program is our traditional morning preschool program that is designed to meet the
needs of families who may have more flexible daytime scheduling or non-traditional working
hours. Children who are only enrolled in the Core Program will still receive all they need to
prepare them for a lifetime of learning in a Christian based environment that strives towards
educational excellence. The Core Program is available to all ages, Infant through PreK.
FULL PROGRAM
The Full Program is designed to meet the needs of families with more traditional Monday-
Friday work schedules who still want their children to have access to high quality education in a
Christian environment. Enrollment in our Full Program automatically includes your child in our
Core Preschool Program but also offers opportunities for Extended Learning into the afternoon
that are designed to build upon the core concepts taught in the morning preschool class. The Full Program is available to all ages, Infant through PreK.
FLEXIBLE OPTIONS
Our Flexible Options are designed to extend the hours of our Core and Full Programs to better support each individual family schedule. Parents can chose to opt into extended learning options that include:

LENGTH OF SCHOOL: We offer a school year based program that typically begins in Mid-August and runs through the end of May. We generally follow the Hopkins County Schools calendar for breaks and holidays. Though we are currently enrolling only for a school year based program, we are diligently working to expand our program to include summer care. Please stay tuned for this exciting information!

ENROLLMENT: Enrollment is first made available to current families and First UMC church members before it opens to the general public. Enrollment can only be completed online through Brightwheel. You will need to create a Brightwheel account to start the enrollment process.

LICENSED FACILITY: We are licensed by the Cabinet for Human Resources and we are under the official board of First United Methodist Church.
